'Def' at a Funeral

As we know the world of film is currently littered with remakes of previous films such as Christopher Nolan's 'Batman Begins' or Neil LaBute's effort with 'The Wickerman', but the newest addition to the list is a British comedy made only 3 years ago and was far from a Box Office smash. So whats the fuss?

The British version, although not a huge success, managed to get plenty of laughs throughout but always seemed to be missing something. Now that it's had the Def Jam treatment it looks like the missing ingredient has been found in the form of orginal black American comedy.
With the likes of Chris Rock and Martin Lawrence on hand it looks like the laughs will be coming thick and fast.
As far as the trailer goes, it doesn't dissapoint and looks like a comedy that follows in the footsteps of 2009s 'The Hangover'. Trust me, an English script mixed with Hollywood's finest comedians makes for something very interesting, far from a funeral experience.

'Death at a Funeral' hits cinemas across the UK on the 4th June 2010, with a full review to follow.
